The Sri Sathya Sai Easwaramma Women’s Welfare Trust is structured as a welfare society rather than as a charitable foundation. We develop and sustain ongoing projects in our local area. Unfortunately, we are therefore unable to help in individual cases of need, particularly outside of our designated service area.
Devotees already living in the Puttaparthi area who wish to do seva with Sri Sathya Sai Easwaramma Women’s Welfare Trust can come into the office and visit with the management about the seva opportunities at that time and what skills they have to offer. In general, volunteers are accepted at the Trust when there is a good match between the needs of the Trust projects and the skills of the devotee.
We regret that we are unable to partner or affiliate with other organizations.
Although the Sri Sathya Sai Easwaramma Women’s Welfare Trust does not solicit donations, we gratefully accept them, and put them to use in our projects to improve the welfare of women. Donations can be accepted as follows: along with a permanent address in India; in Indian rupees; either as a multi-city cheque, or as a demand draft (cashier’s check) payable at Puttaparthi, in favor of (made out to) the Sri Sathya Sai Easwaramma Women’s Welfare Trust; mailed or brought into the office.
Please be aware that the rulings on format and procedure for donations do change from time to time, according to Government of India regulations. It is best to contact us for information prior to making a donation.
In-kind donations for ongoing projects are accepted on a case-by-case basis and only with the prior approval of the management.
In particular, we do not accept used clothing at any time. Bhagavan instructs that if clothing is given at all, it should be new.
