“Instruct the women of the villages on the basic principles of child health, child care and child training. When health fails, people become despondent and even desperate. When health prevails, vitality pervades both mind and body” - Baba

The Trust has been sending out mobile medical teams to villages every month for the past decade. In camps, the volunteer doctors and other medical staff give checkups to women during and directly after pregnancy and also to the children between the age of 0-12 years.

Minor problems are treated in the camps; more serious problems when identified, are referred for medical treatment at the Sri Sathya Sai Hospitals.

The doctors who come from all over India to give their service in the medical camps also provide continuing education to village women about nutrition, health, childcare, and hygiene. Over the time the Sri Sathya Sai Easwaramma Women’s Welfare Trust has been doing these camps, there has been marked improvement in the health and body weights of both mothers and infants.

Vitamin and mineral supplements are given out in the camps, along with protein mix. Medicines are donated for all the patients. The medical camps are divided into two sections – Gyneac & Pediatric
