"People desire that only their family and children should be happy. But Easwaramma was not like that. She wanted everyone to be happy. Even though she was not educated she taught such noble qualities to everyone." - Baba

If we are alert with minds and eyes open, we will see meaning in the commonplace; we will see the very real purposes in situations which we might otherwise shrug off and call "chance."

Bhagavan, with His Immense Grace, blessed us with Sri Sathya Sai Easwaramma Women's Welfare Trust for the benefit of women everywhere.

We are grateful to Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for this Trust which supervises the EWWP and the Mother and Child Project, inaugurated on the 19th of July 2005, as well as the journal Mother Sathya Sai, blessed by Bhagavan on November 19, 2005. All of these projects are gifts to us. From the moment they were conceived, we have felt the love, joy and indomitable spirit of women every step of the way.

Women bring such beautiful gifts to the world through their openness, compassion and wisdom. I only hope that the work of the Sri Sathya Sai Easwaramma Women's Welfare Trust can help people see more clearly what is really important in life and appreciate more deeply the human experience. For it is only in nurturing oneĆs own soul that one can nurture and give to another.

My prayer is that we will stop wasting time in being mundane and mediocre...we are daughters of God, here to do His Work.
